2008 Registration Information...

Delegate registration fee is US $1,650 (AED 6055.50)

The registration fee for delegates include all Social Activities - Welcome Cocktail Reception on Sunday 16th March, the Marketplace Reception on Monday 17th March, The Authentic Arabian Desert Dinner (tentative) on Wednesday 19th March and all Sessions at the 4 day Forum March 17th – 20th, Workbook, Continental Breakfasts, am/pm Coffee breaks and Lunches.

Social Pass fee is US $400 (AED 1468.00)

The Social Pass is for those wishing to attend the Welcome Cocktail Reception on Sunday 16th March, the Marketplace Reception on Monday 17th March and the Authentic Arabian Desert Dinner (tentative) on Wednesday 19th March. The Social Pass does not include Forum Sessions.

Day Pass fee is $700 (AED 2569.00)

The Day Pass is for delegates who wish to attend only one day of the event. The Day Pass can be purchased for each day of the 4 day Forum. This is ideal for those who are not able to attend the full entire Forum. The one day pass provides access to the Forum Sessions, am and pm coffee, lunch and trade show access on specific day purchased.

Hotel Reservations

The Palace Hotel – US $385 (AED 1415) per night

The Palace Hotel is the Host Hotel of the WIF 2008. The World Insurance Forum (WIF) has reserved a limited number of rooms at the Palace Hotel at a discounted rate of US$385 (AED 1415) per room, per night, European Plan (room only) including taxes and gratuities. This rate applies for three days prior and three days after the Forum dates, subject to availability. March is a very busy time for hotels in Dubai so we advise that you book your hotel accommodation as early as possible. Please note room availability at The Palace Hotel is restricted to full paying Delegates. Cancellation and refund Policy

Delegate Registration Cancellation

  • All delegate registration cancellations must be in writing to the World Insurance Forum by email to: info@worldinsuranceforum.com
  • Up to 45 days prior to the event (1st February 2008) a full refund will be issued less 20% Administration Fee.
  • Up to 30 days prior to the event (15th February 2008) A 50% ($775) refund will be issued for delegate registration cancellations.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations after this date.
  • There are no refunds on Social Passes, Day Passes, Media Tables, Exhibitor Space and Hospitality Suites

Hotel Registration Cancellation

All hotel reservation cancellations must be in writing to the World Insurance Forum at info@worldinsuranceforum.com and Hotel cancellation policy will be detailed on the online registration form.

Please Note

  • Do not send registration or payment by mail. Forum and Hotel registration can only be done through our online registration link. Click here for the secure registration form
  • All Forum attendees must register at the DIFC Gate (the venue for the WIF 2008) on Sunday, March 16th, 2008 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm or Monday, March 17th, 2008 from 7:30 am - 8:30 am prior to attending any function or session.
  • Visit the Forum registration desk at the DIFC for any questions regarding registration.
  • Delegates must display their Forum badges at all times.
  • The transfer of badges to non-registrants is strictly prohibited.

UAE Visa Regulations

Please note that the government of UAE requires most Countries to apply for a Visa to enter Dubai. The following countries DO NOT need to obtain a Visa if they carry a valid government issued Passport:

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtain, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican

Should your country not be listed above please check with your nearest UAE Embassy/Consulate. If you require a Visa to enter the UAE and you are flying Emirates Air, you may obtain one from them or from the hotel you are staying at for a minimal fee.
